I am a retired academic based in the UK (I mainly worked as a quantitative sociologist). However, I also taught post-graduate courses in visual and photographic methods for social research.
I take photographs using various digital cameras. At present I am mainly using Panasonic L mount, and a Leica M10 Monochrom camera. I mainly work in black and white. I also occasionally use film. One of my long term projects is focussed on images of coastal Britain.
I have been taking photographs for over three decades. I used to have a darkroom, but I am now completely digital in terms of printing.
For digital processing I mainly use Lightroom, Capture One and Photoshop, and print with an Epson P900 and Canon Pro 1000 printer. I have converted the P900 to the Piezography Pro monochrome ink system.
